Visit the Kaisercrafties blog to win prizes, get a sneak peek into the Kaisercraft Magazine, inside gossip from Kaisercraft product development about *NEW* products, giveaways plus a HUGE $440 Q2 Collection prize up for grabs, a live chat with the KC Design Team and more!!

Talking of Kaisercraft here is a layout I made, using the Loire Valley Range of my Mum when she was a wee little girl in Grade One. It is funny to think of Mum as being a little school but here is a pic of her and wasn't she just a little sweetie!

I don't have much else to share because the dreaded flu has hit me! I have been so sick the last few days, even walking made my joints ache. Not fun! But on a brighter note, my Q2 goodies have arrived so I will be scrapping up a storm over the next few weeks. So stay tuned.

Hop to see you at the blog party tomorrow!

My Secret Garden

Hi everyone.

I hope this Wednesday is treating you well. it is cold and raining here..brrrrrrrr. With the release of Kaisercraft Q2 just around the corner I decided to finish of my half done Kaisercraft Tree. It was almost finished, I just haven't gotten around to doing it (a bit lazy I suppose lol). Nevertheless I have finally finished it, and thought I would share it with all you lovely people.

I decided instead of doing a family tree, I would make a secret garden with it. I used the lovely Pennyroyale papers and alphas. The stitching and beading took a little while, but I loved the end result. What do you think?

Anyways that is it for today.

Be back soon.

A Layout + News = Super Sunday

Hellloooo everyone out there in cyberland.

How are we all this lovely Sunday. I am feeling fantastic today. I did a little bit of exercise this morning, so all those good endorphins are racing through my body. Kayla went to a friends birthday party yesterday at McDonalds. I was so proud of my little poppet when she ordered herself a bottle of water instead of soft drink or juice. The girls only ever drink water and milk, so i thought given the chance she would order what the rest of the kids were having, and have soft drink. But she ordered water and I was sooooo extremely proud of her.

I have a layout to share today. My Mum sent me some old photos she had, and we decided we would start tracing the family history. Unfortunately this photo of these two adorable girls din't have their names on the back, so we are unsure as to who they are. But i loved the photo so much that I had to scrap it almost immediately.

Now onto some very exciting news!!!! I have been asked by the gorgeous Wilma to join her amazing Dream Team over at 123 Scrapbook. I am so excited to join this wonderful team. They were the first online forum that I joined, and I haven't left because they are such a friendly and funny bunch of ladies. I join the very talented Karlene Fahey, Monica Brady, Ngaire Gilligan, and Teina Cumming. I am really looking forward to this new venture, so feel free to pop over to the forum and say hi.

On a sadder note, I have decided to finish my Design Team role at A2Z Scraplets. I had an absolute blast working with Julie and the team over the past months, and I thank Julie for being a delight to work with. Thankyou!

Well that's about it for today. I have some housework to do so i had better not put it off any longer.

Have a great Sunday.

Happy hump day

Hello everyone.

I hope you are all doing well on this lovely Wednesday. We are all doing really well. We are currently on the toilet training rollercoaster with miss Emily. We have been trying for a couple of days now, only 2 successes so far, but we are on the way. Our little poppet loves wearing her knickers and she is now a big girl, so she tells us. Today when i gave her a sandwich for lunch she got cranky at me for cutting it up saying "I am big, so now I can have big squares" rather then me cutting it into quarters. Little cutie she is. Both of the girls have been getting up very early lately. This morning it was 4:45 am eeeeekkkkkkk. I put them back to bed 3-4 times only to hear them giggling and playing 15 minutes later. I ended up telling Kayla that if she didn't go to bed and rest, there would be no pre-school today (I gave her a few chances actually). Needless to say there was NO pre-school today, and no doubt our two princesses will be very tired and grumpy come this afternoon.

Today I have a couple of layouts to show you, both for Kaisercraft.

This first one is my take on last Saturdays Sketch. It uses the gorgeous Loire valley range mmmmmm.
This next layout is my layout using the Pennyroyale Range. Isn't this photo of my hubby and Kayla sweet!
Talking about Kaisercraft, pop on over to the website to see the new Q2 releases. These are really gorgeous, I think Dear Santa would have to be my favourite range though. Also while you are there jump over to the blog because the 30 Daily contests are still on, so give it a go for your chance to win some great prizes.

Well that's about it for today. Have a great week everyone.

I need to practice!!

Hi all.

I hope this blog post finds you all happy and healthy. Another uneventful week here so far, so not much to share unfortunately. The weather has been beautiful, so the girls are spending much of their time outside. I have been playing around practicing with my camera, trying to figure out how to use it properly (lol not very sucessfully though).

Here are a couple of recent pics.

I made this layout as well, trying to get my mojo back before Kaisercraft Q2 is released. I am really looking forward to this next release. It all look so yummy!

That's about it for today. Don't forget to check out the Kaisercraft blog for the 30 days of Creative Contests. You have to be in it to win it.

Have a great day
Hugs
