Crafting for Lime Tart - Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge 61

Good morning everyone!!

I have been on a roll creating cards lately. When the girls are colouring or doing craft, I pull out my Copics (or Textas as Kayla calls them) and colour too.

I made this card for the Lime Tart blog. For a list of supplies you can check out my post here.

This card uses the gorgeous Kraftin' Kimmie stamp Ophelia designed by Crissy Armstrong. I love all Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, but I find her stamps very enchanting.

I am entering this card into Challenge 61 on the Kraftin' Kimmie blog. The challenge was to use flowers. That is something I can do lol.

Be sure to check out the Lime Tart store to see the new Kraftin' Kimmie stamps that have come in store. Berry nice!!

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Take care.

In a Sweet Pea Dream - Under the Sea

Hi again!

When I saw that the next challenge over at In a Sweet Pea Dream was "Under the Sea", I knew I had to play along. I have wanted to use my ching-chou kuik's Koi stamp since I received it. So I pulled it out as soon as I saw this new challenge and created this card.

I wasn't sure about the colours as I started and almost didn't complete it, but I am glad I did. I love the red, yellow and orange together.

Thank you so much for dropping by again. Also thank you everyone who has taken the time to leave me such beautiful comments. I read every one of them, and I promise I will stop by your blogs soon if I haven't visited already.

Until next time

Sweet Pea Stamps!

Hi everyone.

Today I am here to share a card using the Nikki Burnette-Arden stamp from Sweet Pea stamps. I really love this stamp and can picture using it in many different colour schemes. I am using this card for the Ribbons and Bows challenge over at In a Sweet Pea Dream and also the anything goes challenge at Sweet Pea Stampers.

I am really happy with how the image turned out in this one!

That's all from me today, it was just a quick post to share this card.
I hope you are all safe and well.

Art Journal 2011

Hello everyone. Are you ready for something a bit different from me?

Do you remember the calico art journal I made back in August last year (I can't believe it was that long ago).

Well I finally got around to creating a page in it!

Ok I am no artist, and it certainly isn't a masterpiece, but I really did enjoy the process. It felt great to just let go and do something completely different. It was almost liberating not having to think about it being perfect and just "going with the flow".

I am going to try and do more in my journal, but for now I am just happy to have completed one page.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Thanks a bunch!

Today I have a special card to share with you all.

This one is for the January challenge over at Webster's Pages and is a tribute to the current Design Team. Most people who know me, know how much I love Webster's Pages. And the ladies over there truly are amazing. So thank you WP Design Team for all the inspiration!! You are all wonderful.

I decided to try my hand at a flower pocket card. The card uses the Webster's Pages Sweet Season papers that arrived on my doorstep this week. I was lucky enough to win them at the WP Week of Winter Wonderland.

Here is the sneaky little card hidden away in the pocket.

And a close up of the flowers I made using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die. Yep I am addicted to that die!!

I think I might just spend this afternoon making some more flowers!! Who knows I may even make some extras and do a give away on my blog. Stay tuned!!

Thanks so much for dropping by. I hope you are all having a wonderful day.
Take care

Back again!

Hi again!

I am on a blogging roll at the moment. Two posts in the one day...that must be a record for me lol.
Self praising aside, I thought I would pop back on and share a few bits and pieces that I made using Webster's Pages in the lead up to Christmas.

My Sister in-law asked me to make a wedding gift for her friend to display some of the wedding photos.
This is what I came up with.

It is made using various scraps of Webster's papers and one of the 7 Gypsies Printer trays.

I love this next layout of Miss Emily and I love the Life's Portrait range! The flower I made using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die.

These next two projects were gifts for my Mother and Mother in-law.
I wasn't sure how this door hanger was going to come together, but I liked the end result. Don't you just love the WonderFall papers? The die cut paper provided the perfect base.

Finally is this set of three mini birdhouses. A few bits and pieces were used on this one.

I didn't take a photo of it, but there is also a little birds nest in the house on the right.

Phew, that was a lot of posting. But I hope you enjoyed looking through these projects.

Thanks for popping in.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year everyone!!

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas break. We ventured up to QLD to visit the family. There were many laughs, a lot of smiles and bucket loads of rain.
The girls had a wonderful time seeing everyone and were spoiled rotten. As were Matt and I.

So did Santa find you? I hope so.
Arriving home we had piles of washing, a yard that looked like a jungle and two very tired little girls. But we have all recovered, the house looks clean and the yard is looking more like a yard and less like a jungle.

So last night I pulled out my Copics and made my first card for the year.

Copics: 0, E000, E00, E11, E31, E35, E47, Y02, Y06, Y08, Y17, R20, R22, R27, B93, B95, B97,GO7

This image is a Whiff of Joy stamp that I purchased from Lime Tart. It is Willow with flower basket. I really love her sweet little face.

Finally I just want to say thank you so much to all those people who have followed my blog or left comments over the past year. It means a lot to me when I see your supportive words and encouragement. You are all wonderful!!

So until next time
Take care
